What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share information when you use the Practical Gitti mobile app, website and related services. It is intended to be read together with any privacy information shown inside the app and on our website.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect: your name, email address and login/account details; information needed to provide and manage your account; subscription status and purchase information received from Google Play; support messages you send to us; app usage information such as categories or content accessed, if enabled; technical information such as device type, app version, IP address, server logs, crash reports and diagnostic information; and any information you choose to provide to us.
Payment information
If you subscribe through the Android app, payment is handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. We may receive and store subscription information from Google Play, such as product ID, purchase token, subscription status, expiry/renewal information and related transaction status, so that we can unlock paid content and provide support.
How we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account; provide free and paid app content; check subscription status; operate, maintain and secure the app and website; respond to support requests; diagnose faults, crashes and performance issues; improve the app and content; comply with legal obligations; and prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorised access.
Free and paid access
The app may be downloaded free of charge. Free users may see limited content. Subscribers receive access to additional or full content while their subscription remains active, subject to these terms and any rules shown in the app or on Google Play.
Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us run the app and website, including hosting providers, database and storage providers, analytics/crash reporting providers if used, email/support providers, and Google Play for subscriptions and app distribution. We may also share information where required by law, regulation, court order or to protect our rights, users and services.
Cloud hosting and image delivery
The app may load images and content from cloud storage, content delivery networks and our backend systems. These services may process technical information such as IP address, request logs and device/browser information as part of delivering the service securely and reliably.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions, security, login, analytics or performance measurement. The mobile app may use local storage or similar app technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, cache images and improve performance. You can manage website cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if essential cookies or local storage are blocked or deleted.

Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. If the app or its content is used by a child, it should be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Legal basis for processing

Account deletion
You may request deletion of your Practical Gitti account by contacting support@practicalgitti.com. Deleting your app account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through Google Play unless the app provides a direct link to Google Play subscription management.
Marketing
We will only send marketing emails where we are legally allowed to do so. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link where available or by contacting us. Service messages about your account, subscription or important app changes are not marketing messages.
Links to other websites
The app and website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of third-party services. You should read their privacy policies before using them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may notify you through the app, website or by other appropriate means. The latest version will apply from the date shown above.

Practical Gitti provides access to lifestyle, household, recipe, family, wellbeing and other practical content organised into categories. The app may include images, text, tips, articles or other content. Content may be changed, added, removed or updated over time.
Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing or using the Practical Gitti app or related services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.
Free access and subscriptions
The app may be downloaded free of charge. Free users may see limited content, such as a limited number of images or articles in each category. Paid subscribers receive access to additional or full content while their subscription remains active.
Google Play subscriptions
Android subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play. Google Play handles payment processing, renewals, cancellations and refunds according to Google Play terms and policies. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. The price, billing period and any trial or introductory offer will be shown before purchase.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a Google Play subscription through your Google Play account subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless Google Play or applicable law provides otherwise. Deleting the app or deleting your Practical Gitti account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
Account registration
Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the app, attempt to bypass subscription controls, copy or scrape content at scale, interfere with the operation or security of the app, use the app for unlawful purposes, or use the app in a way that may harm us, other users or our service providers.
Content ownership and licence
The app, design, images, text, branding and other content are owned by us or licensed to us unless stated otherwise. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
