Celebrating life’s small moments is a beautiful way to nurture your mental well being. One of my favourite things to celebrate small achievements or for just appreciating/loving yourself is to take the time and enjoy a good cup of coffee somewhere alone. Self-love means appreciating and respecting YOURSELF and it shouldn’t be understood as being selfish. That’s how I honour my little victories, good news or joyful moments. Everyone has their own way of doing this, and it’s especially vital when you’re feeling low. Despite busy schedules or commitments, it’s crucial to pause occasionally and treat yourself with the kindness and love YOU deserve.
Just one great little exercise could be to dedicate a few minutes each morning or during the day to a self-love ritual, like sipping tea mindfully or writing one thing you appreciate about YOURSELF. The painting above is something I painted myself, since I always believed I couldn't draw, but wanted to challenge myself to see if I could actually do it. In the end, all these painting sessions I took turned into a beautiful time of Self-love and Self-reflection.
