Creating a Vision Board

I first heard about a VISION BOARD at a network marketing event years ago and was encouraged to make one, which I did. I recall cutting out a giraffe from a magazine, and unbelievably, within six months, I was standing before a real giraffe in a Tanzanian National Park. Since then, I’ve created more boards, and looking back, many of those dreams came true. It’s a fun and creative process - just gather magazines, pictures, words, or phrases, glue them onto a piece of cardboard, and place it somewhere visible, like your desk. LET THE MAGIC unfold.

What is a Vision Board?

A vision board is a visual collage of images, words, or symbols that embody your goals, dreams, and aspirations. It acts as a motivational tool to keep you focused on what you want to achieve. Created on a physical or digital board, it helps clarify your values, motivations, and priorities. Discover how to craft a vision board, choose goals to include, and explore its benefits for your well-being and success.

Vision Boards can be created on card board or online

Vision boards are great fun to do, especially in company with other people, your children or friends.

There are many ways to get started and you can either do it online or on card board. I guess these days its getting harder and harder to have lots of magazines for inspiration laying around to add to your vision board.

So far I only tried a manual board with lots of pictures and quotes on. But I should imagine creating a vision board online would be quite easy and impactful also. You sure have more choices to find exactly the pictures or images you have in mind. Saying that, I have recently started to put a screen saver on my phone of a picture or place I’d love to visit. That way every time I look at the phone, this picture comes up and manifests within me. Love it. I actually put up a screen saver of a picture in Greece and believe it or not, 2 months later I was there. It really does work IF you focus on it. MAGICAL.

What are the benefits of creating a Vision Board ?

  • Creating a vision board can offer several benefits, acting as both a motivational tool and a way to clarify your goals. It’s a visual representation of what YOU want to achieve.

  • It also helps you to focus more by narrowing down what really matters to you and what you really, really want. Often it can be a new job, a career, a certain house, a holiday, travel, a relationship, anything really.

  • Place somewhere you’ll see it all the time, it’s a constant reminder. It keeps your goals alive.

  • It can become a very positive activity and makes you take action or at least start you off to become more proactive with your dreams and goals. Give it a go and see what happens.
